US Marine Corps - Communication Strategy

  • Currently have published more than 200 photos and videos showcasing the US Marine Corps on the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS)

  • Coordinated media interviews with subject-matter experts and senior leadership

  • Represented the Marine Corps to regional, national and international media through on camera speaking, media escorts, interviews and installation tours

  • Have coordinated with and worked hand in hand with British, Danish and Jordanian government public relation offices

  • Developed content and marketing strategies for the 3rd Marine Division, Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Marine Corps Recruiting Command, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, MCAS Miramar MCRD Parris Island and the Eastern Recruiting Region social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Vines, Pinterest, Flickr, Instagram and YouTube pages)

  • Assisted in coordination for various nationally covered events such as presidential visits to military installations, visits and tours for Fortune 500 Companies and landmarks in Navy and Marine Corps history

UK Parliament Fellowship

Researched and studied a variety of British political topics, visited and spoke with British constituents and provided a variety of services and clerical duties to assist in daily Parliamentary operations and communication campaigns  for members of Parliament and the British government.

NASA - Communication Strategy

  • Assisted with NASA’s first every live Q&A between Astronaut Scott Kelly and the public via Snapchat and Twitter

  • Assisted with the first ever Facebook Live from space to Earth. This involved coordinating with Facebook HQ and Mark Zuckerburg himself to speak with astronauts on the International Space Station.

  • Lead coordinator for the Integrated Strategic Communication and Events Plan for Star Trek's 50th Anniversary and impact Star Trek has had on space exploration.

  • Created several Tumblr post and info-graphics for Memorial Day, Veterans Day and monitored Facebook and YouTube accounts.

  • Lead project manager to clear discrepancies from all 512 NASA social media accounts which are across 16 platforms

  • Produced photographic content for various social media platforms to include Facebook, Twitter and SnapChat

  • Assisted in tours of Goddard Spaceflight Center

  • Assisted video team with multimedia productions
